Visperterminen, the Heida village at the entrance to the Visper valley, lies 1,378 metres above sea level. The Giw in Visperterminen provides easy access to a beautiful skiing region offering impressive views of the highest mountains in Switzerland. A chair lift takes you from the village through idyllic coniferous forests and up to the 2,000 metre altitude ski resort, where snow is guaranteed. This open and child-friendly area is accessed by chairlifts, T-bar and rope tow lifts. Children can also enjoy themselves at Children's Paradise (Kinderparadies) or attend the skiing and snowboarding school, which is of course also intended for adults.
