Rigi – the queen of the mountains.
The Rigi massif, with its breath-taking 360° panoramic view, offers a first-class mountain experience whatever the season. The rack railways from Goldau and Vitznau (Europe's oldest mountain railway, built in 1871) and the cable car from Weggis offer visitors the chance to make a variety of circular tours, possibly involving a boat trip on romantic Lake Lucerne.
