Ski Resort Info

The legendary mountainous regions, St. Moritz and Celerina, are two of the most famous winter sports destinations in the world. Skiers and snowboarders are sure to get their money's worth on a whole variety of slopes. Among the more than 155 kilometres of slopes, 42 km are blue-level and suitable for beginners. The 79 km of red and 34 km of black slopes, on the other hand, will more than satisfy advanced ski enthusiasts. Early risers swear by the «White Carpet» – the first ride on freshly groomed ski slopes: the Marguns gondola and the Chantarella funicular start running as early as 7:45 a.m. Other mountain railways are also up and running by 8 a.m. And in that first light of a new day, you can find yourself on top of Piz Nair. Spread out before you is the panoramic view, World Cup-level downhill runs and the Corviglia Snow Park with 30 obstacles.

The Engadin is known for its many sunny days. The Corviglia ski resort faces south and offers fantastic conditions for skiing and snowboarding when the weather is nice. Thanks to an altitude of 1'800 to over 3'000 metres, the Upper Engadin is absolutely guaranteed to have snow.

Various Mountain Railways Providing Ski Resort Access
A funicular runs from the village of St. Moritz to the Chantarella middle station. In addition, a cable car from St. Moritz Bad and a gondola lift from Celerina go right up to the slopes. All three valley stations have parking and can be reached by bus. In Suvretta and Salastrains, you can take the chairlift to get to the slopes. If you happen to be stationed in Samedan, take the bus to Celerina and take the gondola from there. At the last valley descent, it branches off with the ski bus to Samedan.

Ski Passes and Prices
Enjoy dynamic prices for ski tickets for the Upper Engadin. Early bookers benefit from cheap ski tickets. You can find an overview of current ski pass prices on the Corviglia ski ticket page. Buy your ski pass online now and hit the slopes right away – no need to queue on arrival.
