During the winter season, the Orselina - Cardada cable car runs every day.
The Cardada - Cimetta chairlift only operates from Friday to Sunday,
and every day during the Ticino school holidays (Christmas + New Year 21.12.24 - 06.01.25; Shrove Tuesday 01.03. - 09.03.25).

The mild winter climate of Cardada Cimetta with its magical landscape and the fantastic panorama is just the right place for excursions and hikes – with or without snow! From Locarno's local mountain you can also see the lowest point in Switzerland, the Lake Maggiore, as well as the country’s highest mountain, the Dufourpeak of Monte Rosa.
No skiing; only snowshoeing and sledding. Skiing and snowboarding is no longer possible in the Cardada Cimetta ski resort.
